My Story
My story, like most, begins with my family. I am one of 12 children in a blended family, with 8 sisters and 3 brothers.
Living in a household with that many girls, someone has to know how to do hair.
I started off by teaching myself how to braid and I fell in love with the process of coloring and cutting hair. A family friend offered me a job working as an assistant in a hair salon and ever since then I have been totally in love with my job.
This opened up many opportunities for me like cosmetology school and working for an esteemed modeling agency doing hair and makeup. I now work at a hairsalon in Ashburn, Virginia, and I’m loving every second of it.
